Meet my daughter Brooke, who helps Gus solve a problem.
See how Gus and Brooke solved the probem. (and stay tuned at the end for a little Rory-cat guest appearance)
Now play "Connect Four" .
Send Mrs. Ferrie a video of your child reading 5 words from the game. (You don’t need to show me you playing the game)
Today we are going to learn about how the letters 'CH' make their own sound and we are going to do it with this video called "The Chopping Championship" where Mrs. Barthel and Mrs. Veenendaal compete to see who is the better chopper. Print off this judging sheet before watching the video. (Your whole family can do their own if you wish).

*NOTE: We do have a disclaimer that knives are dangerous and that kids should not use knives without a parent's permission. Please talk with your kids about knife safety after this video!
After you have submitted your scores, you can do the "CH" pages from your booklet. You can choose to do just 1 or all 3!
Watch the video with Mrs. Ferrie explaining pollination and the importance of bees in God’s world.
Tell your parents what you thought was interesting from the video.
Make a bee and flowers by following the instructions in the video below and then have fun collecting 'nectar' (water) and bringing it back to the hive.
If your child is having a hard time with seeing the difference between b and d, you can try the Thumb's Up approach with it. Have your child watch this very short video.
Optional: Here are some worksheets that your child can do to give them practice seeing the difference between b and d.
