Mox the Fox

Mrs. Ferrie is introducing our new character "Mox the Fox". His favourite letter is O and he loves the 'short o' sound. Take a look at this video to know what activities you can do today.

Have fun reading the book Mox's Shop! We have not gone over the 'sh' sound, so parents will need to help with that word. Thanks!

Feed Mox & Popcorn Words

Here are some words you can write on the popcorn. These words are from all the Mox the Fox books that you have in your package. Choose words based on what your child is able to read and maybe throw in a few challenge words.

short o - on, Mox, pop, fox, job, hog, pot, drops, jogs, log, stomp, hop, rocks, shop

short e - rest, gets, set, bend, step, mess, eggs, helps

short a - cat, and, pass, has, adds, lap, can

sight words - the, to, go, I, and, has

Count On Dice Game

When you place this dice game, make sure that you aren't just counting each dot on the dice. But choose a dice, say the amount on the dice and then count on the other dice. Have Fun!
